Just a heads up that we will be have some upcoming groups, closures, and holiday hours in May. When we have large groups visiting, we are open to the public, but are busier than usual. Here are the dates and details:

May 7th - Large Group (56 Kids) 10:30-12:00
May 12th - Closed at 4:00pm for Mother’s Day weekend
May 13th - Closed for Mother’s Day
May 16th - Large Group (52 Kids) 10:00am
May 17th - Large Group (42 Kids) 10:00am
May 24th - Large Group (52 Kids) 10:00am
May 26th - Closed at 2:00pm for Memorial Day Weekend
May 27th - Closed at 2:00pm for Memorial Day Weekend
May 28th - Closed for Memorial Day
May 30th - Large Group (35 Kids) 11:00-1:30pm

And coming up next month:

June 16th - Closed at 4:00pm Father’s Day Weekend
June 17th - Closed for Father’s Day

Hi TreeHouse friends - Our summer hours begin May 1. Here are the new times:

Monday 10:00-5:00pm
Tuesday 10:00-5:00pm
Wednesday 10:00-7:30pm*
Thursday 10:00-5:00pm
Friday 10:00-5:00pm
Saturday 10:00-4:00pm
Sunday 10:00-4:00pm

You can always check out our Location & Hours page for our current hours. And keep an eye on our News & Updates page for any special closings for large groups or holidays (there are quite a few for May!).

The cafe will be open Friday, Saturday, & Sunday at 7:00am and will be featuring Dexter Bakery Donuts and Zingerman’s Coffee. Stop by the TreeHouse and see what it’s all about!

Heads up for February 2012

Hey TreeHouse friends! Just a heads up that we will be having some large groups visiting during the month of February. Here are the dates and times:

Monday, Feb 13 – From 10am until noon, we’ll be hosting a large group of 90 kids
Friday, Feb 17 – From 10am until noon, we’ll be hosting a group of 22 kids.
Friday, Feb 24 – From 10am until 1pm, we’ll be hosting a group of 80 kids.

The TreeHouse will remain open to the public during these times, but we’ll be busier than usual.

Free Printable TreeHouse Party Invitations and Thank You Notes

New and improved TreeHouse party invitations are now available for you to download and print. We’ve restyled the layout so they are easier to print and cut to size. Each invitation file is ready to print on your letter size paper, 2 per sheet. Just cut in half and you’re all set!

If you are able to print two sided, we also have a new design that you can print on the front of any of our designs. These are intended to be printed on the back of our invitations and then folded.

We also have thank you’s available that make it a cinch for your child to fill out and give to his or her friends after their TreeHouse birthday party.

Straight from the North Pole and to the Chelsea TreeHouse!

Come visit Santa at the Chelsea TreeHouse Christmas Eve from 10:00am to Noon. After hearing about our amazing rocking chair he had to make one last stop before his busy night of delivering gifts! Bring your camera to capture the moments of your child giving a couple last minute gift requests.

Chelsea TreeHouse doubles space, considers further expansion

The Chelsea TreeHouse— a popular indoor playground for children—has doubled its space and tripled its capacity by moving to a new location at 1101 S. Main in the Village Plaza Mall at the corner of Old US 12.

“Before, there would be a wait every single Saturday and Sunday nine months of the year,” said owner and Chelsea resident Michele Balaka, who was a stay-at-home mom when she started the business in 2006. “That’s hard to tell a young child they have to wait 30 minutes when they can see everyone playing.”

We passed all our inspections! We will be opening at noon and closing at 5pm today, 11/23/11.

Thanksgiving Week Hours:
Wednesday: 12:00-5:00pm
Thursday: Closed (HAPPY THANKSGIVING!)
Friday: 10:00-7:30pm
Saturday: 10:00-7:30pm
Sunday: 10:00-5:00pm

Our normal winter hours will resume Monday, 11/28.

We’re moving!

The TreeHouse is making a big move to a larger new location in Chelsea, Michigan. Our new home is just up the street from our old place, and with 9,000 square feet, we will have LOTS or room for our TreeHouse friends to play! The new TreeHouse features a basketball hoop, expanded baby and toddler area, tons more seating and much more.

Our new place is in the same plaza as the Chelsea Post Office and Aberdeen Bike & Outdoors, at the corner of Old US 12 and M-52 (Main St.).
